srinath ji

Lord Shrinathji stands at the centre, richly adorned in golden jewellery and traditional dress, surrounded on all sides by a great herd of sacred white cows. Devotees and cowherds tend lovingly to the animals, while above, divine figures sail across a stormy sky in golden boats beneath a glowing moon. A classic Pichwai composition painted with extraordinary detail and devotion — every cow, every devotee, every flower carefully placed. The white pearl border frames the scene like a shrine. A truly special work in one of India's most sacred and beloved art traditions.
