sacred pair

Two adorned white cows face each other beneath a lush, full tree, their bodies decorated with traditional hand prints and jewelled garlands. A pond of blooming pink and yellow lotuses fills the foreground, while golden hanging blossoms cascade from the branches above. Every element is rich with detail — the beaded garlands, the careful hand-stamped markings, the glittering tree rendered dot by dot. Rooted in the Pichwai tradition of Nathdwara, this is a celebration of the sacred cow and the abundance of nature, painted with patience and devotion.
